My fingers hurt... Wheel Refinish

Well I posted up the thread to see what I was going to do. My plan was black centers with polished lips. Well the lips did not want to work with me so all black it is!!!

Here is what I started with:

Fittipaldi by OZ 5 Spokes
Removable Center Caps
Peeling Clear
15x7
et26

Next came the primer:

Then the first coat of paint!

Finally done... my pointer fingers are both DEAD!!!

Suspension should be here by next weekend!

You didn't paint the inside of the wheel? Its probably got a ton of overspray.

Not yet... Sometime this week. Only did the front...

but looking straight at the wheel you can't see it anyways :) hehe

a project forum thread on how to spraypaint your wheels? I imagine the first time you put a pressure washer to them it is all going to peel off.--btw you should have donr the insides first, now you will have overspray all over the front.

1 - I am not painting the barrels... They are 200 dollar wheels on a close to free car.

2 - I don't pressure wash anything. That is gangster... Sorry.

3 - Again, as I said previously... I don't care... It is a daily driver. Once on the car I doubt you see the barrels... It doesn't really matter.

The wheels look great, but will look a lot better when mounted on your car and rotating at high speed on the Tail of the Dragon!!!!!
