Well. That's a battle in which I will not embark. I find my own M3 (with S14) the best car that BMW built in the past 20 years. Others may have bought that same car and want to ditch the heart of it. That's their problem. They paid for it. They can do what they want. My thought is that if they bought an e30 m3 but don't like the engine, bad enough that they need to replace it with an M50B30, then perhaps they should have bought the e36 m3 in the first place.
