    Helpful info. THanks :)

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

        Just read the whole thing...very nice...my .02:

        1) As for colors, any way to do amber? They'll match...would yellow paint with a red led accomplish this?

        2) The voltage gauge with a numerical readout, can you make it more specific for the car audio guys? say, 12-14.5 in .1 increments?

        3) How hard would it be to set up an independent dimmer for the gauges that go in the buttons? The control would most likely have to be located elsewhere, I'd think.

Have you thought about incorporating gauges into the rearview? That could have lots of possibilities...anything from one gauge to a full-blown gauge cluster...

Like you don't have enough on your plate...

I would definitely be in for a one-touch window switch (cabrio), especially if it replaces that window breaker button, probably a voltage one if it was numerical and more specific and especially if it were orange...

Well done, I could see this becoming as large as you'd like it to be. Above all, thanks!

dimming an LED? how's that work, effectively anyway?

The rearview think would be sweet.. I've been eyeing the Valentine One rear view radar detector, but, i rarely break the speed limit, so it would be pointless.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I blew up the CPU on my main design rig. I'm up and running again. Should have several videos and photos to show you soon.

I read through the mold link and checked out the tap plastics link...looks like with some trial and error could make up some glossy amber colored (or blue, green, red, yellow or pearl) replacements for the hazard cover instead of thinning a couple hundred of them by hand...solves two issues...

Are those digital readout ones available in other colors?

I finally started making some videos tonight. I plan to duck out of t-day celebrations early in the evening to work - and hopefully have something tomorrow night.

I'm putting together an informal mailing list so that people can receive email updates when new products are ready. Anyone interested PM me your email.

                          - EDIT: Only got one of the videos done tonight. I'll keep working on it.

                          - EDIT: Got another video done tonight. two to go.

I'll start an official sales thread in the "for sale" section - but I know there were a few of you ready to buy. I'll see how things go, but I'll cut order off on or around the 8th would be my guess. That way everyone will be able to get them in time for Christmas.

God damn, you're going to cause all of us to be buying your gauges instead of actually fixing what needs done on our cars!
