Welp, I got a new in-tank pump at Henry's and got the car running again. I decided to check the flow before I blew it again and I only got 7oz instead of 30oz coming back. That confirmed my suspicion that it was the main pump that was on its way out and killing the pickup pumps in the process. I changed the main pump to another used one, but that one didn't work at all.

Going back to the yard tomorrow :(

Nope, I seem to have raped all the junkyards around and none have anymore fuel pumps left. I'm gonna go up to Henry's tomorrow to see if they have anymore.
You should stop over some time!

Haha, I think that would be Mike that's the master, but I can do it too if you need help.

I'm gonna try 1 more used one before I get a new one so I can see if it is the car or just the pumps. Where did you find a new one for $100?

I knew I spelt walboro wrong. How long have you had yours?

Sounds good dude! Yeah, spend the $100 on a new pump. Hopefully its not the cars fault!

Ive been hearing some horror stories with the walboros though. Hearing that they dont last very long. I dont know. I have a few miles on mine so far and it seems fine.

The hummer is my dads, we've driven it maybe 5 thousand miles in the 10 years we've owned it. It is amazing how little room the passengers have in such a large vehicle.

    But back to the e30.
Mike and I were driving around yesterday when I blew the fuel pump again. I'm hoping it was just coincidence and that this wont be a reoccurring problem. A walbrough is in my future though, as I plan on supercharging it eventually.

The 2.93 diff I have in it is awful for this engine too. I have a 3.64 lsd in my garage that I need to freshen up a bit- That will be going in soon.

Whose hummer is that!?!?!? my next door neighbor used to work at a ford/saleen/hummer dealer. he used to bring home those H1s all the time when i was a kid, the part i remember most is the "separation" between driver and passenger, i could reach as far as my arm would reach and i couldn't touch the driver haha

Picked up my new radiator today. Went to put it in and noticed that it was slightly different than the shitty one I had in there, so I had to find a new way to mount it. While I was in there, I decided to try to fix the radiator support damage the woman before me had inflicted so the new radiator would have some more room.

Front end off again. You can kind of see the damage here on the lower left.

I realized after I got the old radiator out that I kind of needed it to move the car. I didn't want to install the new one for fear of damaging it, so- instead of pulling back with the car, I pulled forward with the hummer :)

This worked a little too well, as I ended up pulling the support out too far. Nothing a bfh couldn't solve though.

    Look at all that clearance

    Speaking of clearance...

    :(

so, I went to work making the springs a little lower

    :)
