    so here is another update.

took the motor off of the stand, and started to get everything ready to get it in the car.

mounted the cluch and pressure plate-----getriebe seite = richtung getriebe(sorry, had to do it due to the problems the other day on here). the throw out bearing was bad, so had to call it a day till I could go get another one.

Mass confusion this morning. was also really cold( this is a car port and its about 25degrees here.

You should be putting down roughly 280-90 whp on a dyno jet @ .8 bar and probably around 330ish whp at 1 bar is my guess. PLENTY of power in an e30. Id say high 12s, low 13s easy if you can hook up at all at with a good tune.

thats kinda what i was thinking too, but i am honestly still turbo stupid. learning as i go.
realized I need to buy a oilreturn fitting too!!! the one from my 324td mani/turbo doesnt even come close to fitting.
how is the MS coming along Chris?
take your time, just not to much!!!!!j/k.
hey Issac, what do you think I will be putting out power wise with this setup? the motor is a 2.7 eta with the i head all stock. I plan to try to run 0,8-1.0 bar. 1/4 mile time with the 3,91? I figured you are the best person to ask, you know how this turbo feels.

No point changing to split pulse when its a non-divided housing. You silly goose.

Don't listen the the R3V guys, you need a 3,91. The 3,91 will compensate for the ebay manifold!

I wanted to part the rust bucket on the first day. If it will make you feel better, I will remove all the welded parts and return them for a refund.

no TUV on it. my M3 hasnt had TUV since 1992 either. I will drive it either on borrowed dealer plates, or on 5 day temp plates. kinda a shame that it wont be driven much either.
it would be way to much trouble to get tuv on the car- its a 316i with a m20 in it and if i was to get pulled over in it with tuv, but the turbo motor in it, i would get fined like crazy, the inspection sticker would be removed, and prob. loose my license for a while.

So Mike what are you going to do about Tuv? Or just remove and reinstall after the car gets it inspection?

maybe I will slap the 3,64 in it then, and see how that works out. dave might be upset, but it is my revenge for welding up his project car, and then parting it!!!!!!

You just rip through the gears very quickly. I am sure you will change it if you don't like it. My 1st and 2nd gear are nearly useless.

I am not looking for an autobahn screamer really. I want a 1/4 mile/short spurts in the twisties type of car. what do you mean too steep? I want to be able to burn tires in 3rd gear type of feeling in the car.
I am going to drill out a nice big hole in the exhaust header, and run a pipe out-- the same as what ryan did with his vert.
if the thing ever gets in the mail!!! Its been about 2 months now that I have been waiting on it.
