Right on. I guess that works.

You might be able to take advantage of something like this.

That should keep charge pipes nice n short.

i am thinking strongly about a single sided cooler and a swamp cooler setup on it is not out of the question set to kick in above a certain boost level

it was pretty easy and some clusters even have the knock out on the back side for the plug to stick through (the oil temp has a 3 blade connector plug that pokes though the back of the cluster), i salvaged the gauge off our shelf at the shop where a asshole that use to work there stole the red pointers off the oil temp and tach, i calibrated the pointer to the sender in a boiling cup of water so it should be dead on at 212 and the rest of the range should be close enough, on the interstate i run around 170 with no thermostat in the oil cooler and that gets up to maybe 185-190 when i am stuck in bumper to bumper but it cools off quick when things get back above 45 mph

if you like that you may like the one i built for my 81 633

Right on dude. To be honest, that intercooler is what i wanted to do. I wanted a cooler with more but shorter bars. Apparently its much more efficient.

            Whats a swamp cooler?

I want one of those oil temp gauges too.

I think im going for wideband there though.....

water spray like the early wrx's had (not sure if they still do) cools em down pretty quick, should be able to control it with the megasquirt too but a simple pressure switch and a relay to run a pump would be a easy back up plan

You can also do hobbs switch (boost activated switch) if you want it to be boost activated.

got my upholstery shop buddy to dye my carpet black and before i installed it i put down some insulation, i had a good bit left over from when i did my shark and it's really light being pretty much 2 layers of bubble wrap with foil on both sides and it's cheap from lowes in a big roll, you just stick it to whatever with spray contact cement, heres where i used it in my shark, works good too as the console doesn't get hot like they usually do

bet your e30 ain't got one of these :D

hooked to a inverter under the spare that's controlled by a dash switch

old news but finally snapped a pic a m3 left side well cover notched for the 325 jack

i haven't added the gauge panel i built for my other car yet but that would be the total elimination of ashtrays for something useful

the plastic cover has a slot for the lug wrench and a center cap tool on the bottom of it, it'll kinda hang on with the 325 trunk side panel but it slots in to the m3 panel and hangs on good without the screw in hold down

finished the inverter set up with a decent switch instead of the breaker i used, played with a defroster switch and tattooed it with a dremmel and a little paint
