As for the shifter, I didnt modify the mounting plate. However I need to get a z3 lever as the e30 one hits in 3rd.

Your totally correct. After i thought about it....Weight transfer (distribution) has nothing to do with the where motor mount arms are mounted to the chassis...
Your overall goal should be to mount the engine as far back against the firewall. Period. Doesn't matter if you have your motor mount bracket squigling around in 15 different directions. Just where the motor ends up is the only thing that's going to affect your weight distribution.
Radiatiors arent something to be close too. Ask how i know. ;)-ChrisComment

it finally drives!!
failed emissions because the test computer couldn't get an accurate reading on the engine speed, fixed that with a new cap and rotor (doh! had to drop the radiator to change it...)
Went to the exhaust shop last weekend. $741.29 later I have two 2" pipes of the mid-length headers to the cat, with a single 2.5 to the resignator to a magnaflow muffler.
Fenders got beaten in a lot more today, rear tires still touch slightly under hard acceleration.m106 1990 e30
