Was that chick really 16? She was SMOKIN'! Car looked great man.

Dude, you still could have hit that. You were in Washington (where the legal age of consent is 16), and you hadn't technically gone there with intent.Leave a comment:

Ya, they really cut down on the light. but I figure 55w HIDs should be able to cut through it ok :) otherwise I'm not sure how else you can smoke H1/H4sLooks great! The only thing I'm not a fan of is the Laminx on the headlights. I have 100w bulbs in my fogs with smoked Laminx and the light reduction is substantial.
BTW, contrary to popular belief you can easily run an HID setup in your H1/H4 combo. The headlights have a nice crisp cutoff.Leave a comment:

If you decide to rub HIDs I have lightly used H4 HID 4300k bulbs. I'll sell them for $20 shipped. I'm close to just throwing them away.
Awesome job btw.Leave a comment:

HOLY SHIT.....that is so freaking clean. I also just picked up a cabrio that needs alot of work. I just bought a mtech II kit and my swap starts in 2 weeks.
I can only hope mine turns out as good as yours. I will use this as inspiration and motivation.
I also need a respray and don't know if I should stay with calypso or switch to something else. That Alpine sure is beautiful.
EXCELLENT WORK!!!!!Leave a comment:

Thanks I appreciate it! I am tempted to just run HIDs in these lights. I love Ellipsoids, but considering I just spent $200 to buy these brand new, I don't want to ditch them quite yet. I have HIDs/ellips on the red car and I LOVE the setup though.ha, nice thread! be thankful you dont/didnt have to deal with any rust like i do!! my ONLY suggestion is smoked elips and add hids. i hear the h1/h4 set up is bright but there is nothing better than elipsoids....to me at least. lemme know when youre ready to pull that motor and start up the 24 valve ill see if i can provide some help/knowledge from my old car.
24v will be coming in the next few months (maybe), so I'll keep that in mind!Leave a comment:
