This project has come a long way...and looks fantastic...so what do you call her?

I try not to name vehicles, at this point it is refered to as "the truck"

You don't mess around do you? Making a truck out of an e30 is not enough, so you throw in a twinc and then slap a turbo on it. Very excellent.

Whats the fun in going small? I even have plans for my next e30 ;)

Oh, and I can't see it very well... is the bumper sectioned and part of the tailgate? And are you going to put some sheet metal on the back side of the gate? Going to put bed liner in when you're done? After doing way too much body work on my car, I would put bed liner in just so I didn't have to prep that part as well.

Yes the bumper is sectioned and part of the tailgate. The tailgate will be skinned once i make the brackets to my latch mechanisms. The bed portion will be sprayed with bed liner eventually, I hate bodywork too.......

Great progress on the project. The working tailgate is slick. What are you doing for engine management for the turbo set up? I am considering going turbo on my m50 but not sure about what EM to use.

I'm building my megasquirt now, i just need to finish the adapter board (i had to be picky and make it plug and play )

I think it looked way cooler on steelies.

Still, can't go wrong with a turbo 24v in an e30 truck. You may soon have the fastest e30 truck on the planet!

You realize that you have to bring the truck when we're doing the swap... my dad will probably find more free stuff to give you just for seeing it - did you get the speakers hooked up yet?

I doubt it'll be mobile by then....

Speakers are hooked up for garage usage ;)
