Bumper swap time! ya!

Took the rear bumper apart to line it up. Any advice on how i can attach it? There is very little clearance between the bumper core and the bumper cover on the bottom where i would need to mount it so im not exactly sure how to go about it. Any one whos done this before have any pics?

No im sanding off the bottom lip of the bumper right now. What did you use to attach the apron? Not much room for conventional bolts.

I used self tapping screws on the sides and bolt/washer/nut on the front. I pre-drilled with a drill attachment that screws on to your dremel. It was invaluable. Yeah, you're going to need to sand, file, plane down the lip on the bumper cover so the lay flat together.

I highly recommend the strut brace I made for the end of the apron.

Hey i was wondering what you used to paint the rubber part of the mtech 1 spoiler. Is it paint thats special for rubber? Let me know as my mtech 1 is in some need of that.

First i gave it a good coat of this


Then I gave it a heavy coat of this


Seems to hold up fine soo far. The strange thing is it doesent even feel like it has any paint on it. The paint soaked in pretty deep so i dont feel im going to have any risk of it cracking or flaking. Im fairly satisfied with the outcome.

wow..thats pretty nice. i think im going to redo my spoiler/lip. its not doing so good. i looked at it yesterday morning..and i also noticed that someone had drawn a big dick on my trunk lid. it took up the whole space of the trunk lid haha. im just glad it wasnt keyed.

btw, your drivers side headlight is out. we drove past each other today and i noticed it.

^ ya i just bought cheap HIDs so sometimes they dont come on the first time and i have to flick them on and off till both lights ignite. Usually it showes up on the check panel but i dident notice it then. Little embarrassing.

Photoshoot sounds great. I dont have a decent camera right now so i havent taken any pics for a while.
