I got the front end all put together today. Not at its final adjustments but i need it together to drive to work tomorrow.
Yanked out the front diving board to remember how BIG it used to be.
Diving board be gone!
Shrouds/lower lip off and in takeoff mode
Uh oh
The front valence was alot harder than i anticipated to set in place. I did not end up having to drill the front fender to place the front sliders which was a relief to me. (mayhem hated this because i dident want to drill the body and he loves it when my projects dont go as planned)
Front bumper on-ish
Late night chevron shots
This will probably be one of my last updates to this thread as i dont want to spoil the surprise at the end!:DYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Final Update:
The swap is basically done now. The only parts i need are brake ducts but the passenger side brake duct seems to be some sort of unicorn as i have three drivers side ones but no passenger side ones.
Got both of the valence braces in today with help from my dad. (thanks to twothrees for the idea) Dont want it to flap around like some ricer bodykit on the highway.
It was snowing again in the PNDub so the car is filthy but you get the idea of what it looks like now. First decent photoshoot will probably come whenever kopis are finally shipping again.
I have a little competition across the street

Looking great! I need to add two of those valence brackets to mine also..I don't think they are 'flapping', but the extra stability would be nice.
Question-do you notice any type of 'buffeting' or rumbling type noise coming from the rear of the car when you get over 40 MPH? I notice it on my car and I am thinking it might be due to the airflow catching the rear valence. Some type of plastic underbody and fenderwell panels might have to be fabricated to alleviate it.Eric Giles

Thanks for the complements gentlemen!
@Eric The bigger reason i had for the brackets was when i would wash it the sides of the valence dident feel solid at all and would move back and fourth and i dont think that kind of fatigue would be that great on fiberglass. After the brackets were installed it feels just as solid as the rest of the panels when i wash it and i dont feel like im bending it.
Now about the buffeting i havent herd anything but i could imagine there would be because our cars have no metal valence and the aprons are just like big sails upside-down catching air from underneath the car and from the wheel wells. Ive been thinking about extending the wheel wells down to the bottom of the apron with some abs plastic sheets cut to size and bolted in and some sort of undertray to block off the rest of the apron from under the car so its not catching air. Ive never seen anything like that done before so i guess theres going to be a little trial and error.
Backtrail has the same setup so maybe he can chime in on the subject as he is always going turbofast:pYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
