hella hid kit? hella elipsoids? on cars that were not originally 9006/elipsoid cars ive found that they dont do well with kits that do not have ignitors. the wifes eta did the same thing as wishnos car with a cheap set of ebay hids. bought a set of prolumens with ignitors and never had a issue since.

It happens with expensive ones also. Its normally a bad connection between the ballast and the capsules (crappy quality control). Easy fix is to take apart the connector and slide slide the plastic connectors down the wire to expose the metal connectors. Solder the connections together and close up the plastic connections. Has worked like a charm for me on a few kits.

So today I drilled the mounting holes for the valence and put in some temporary bolts to hold it together. The valence fits a lot better once its being held on correctly. I have a lot more confidence on this setup now that i can see how its going to fit together. Next im going to take it apart and sand the bumper and valence down till its ready for primer.

First i gave it a good coat of this

Then I gave it a heavy coat of this

Seems to hold up fine soo far. The strange thing is it doesent even feel like it has any paint on it. The paint soaked in pretty deep so i dont feel im going to have any risk of it cracking or flaking. Im fairly satisfied with the outcome.

Check out this thread, I detailed how I did mine. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...ight=eurostyle

I used self tapping screws on the sides and bolt/washer/nut on the front. I pre-drilled with a drill attachment that screws on to your dremel. It was invaluable. Yeah, you're going to need to sand, file, plane down the lip on the bumper cover so the lay flat together.

I highly recommend the strut brace I made for the end of the apron.
