Well it runs and drives. everything is together.
Im dropping it off tomorrow for the exhaust to get done and I will drive it some more to work out the bugs.
I drove it for about 5 minutes tonight to make sure everything was good for the trip to the exhaust shop and the only problem I had was the car would shut off when I would come to a stop.
I think it has something to do with not having an exhaust on. Who knows. we will find out tomorrow.

yeah, exactly 1 month today. :)
I dont even want to count up the bills that went into it in the past month.
Most of the time was waititng on parts or not enough time to work on it.
I hope to get it back today. I dont see that happening though.

I found them on ebay and I bought them from Vines Automotive in Alabama.

I got it for a lot cheaper because I didnt get the intake and the tubes.

Anyways I worked on them a little last night.
I fitted a M50 tps to it. The shaft that goes into the TPS was about 1 inch longer so I had to cut and file the rod to make it all work.
No thats done and good to go.
I will start fitting them sometime in the spring. I need to slow down on spending money because of Christmas and bills.

I will try to update as much as I can. I hope to get them mocked up on my spare head and go from there.
I got to look up a lot of info before anything. I need a bently too for the e34 m5's

I just need to know all the vacume ports and where they hook up and the coolant pipe that runs through it. Might be better for me just to snatch a book at barnes and knoble.
I need to find some better more clear photos of these mounted so I can see how everything is run and hooked up.
If I get enough ambition then I might just have to jump into it one night.

I know what you mean. Trying to find some one who knows what an itb is impossible.
I called one place and they thought it was a tps sensor. So I drove down there and they bring this sensor out. wtf.

HA, That has got to suck. I got really lucky when I found these.
I sent a message and gave Martin a call. He was a pleasure to work with and very easy to deal with. No hassle either. You should give him a call and see if they might have any more.
I will keep an eye out for another set for you. I have a buddy who is going back to france next month so maybe I could get him to snatch a set or two.
