    89' E30 Project

Hello all, I just joined the forum and I'm fairly new to E30s. I've been a fan ever since I can rememver. I just picked up and 89' Alpine White 325i with an auto tranny. My goal was to get a manual, but this was an offer I couldn't refuse. The body is in pretty good shape except for some minor dings/dents. The car overheats when driven more than a couple miles. I just found out that the coolant mixed with the oil.. Its not a perfect example of an E30 like the ones on the forum, but it's a start.

Mods/Replaced parts so far (majority of them aren't on the car):

    Passenger fender
    "is" mirrors
    mtechII trunk lip
    trunklid
    Euro Smileys
    14" basketweaves
    Front valence
    "is" seats
    M20 long block

    From Day 1 to current:

    (seats didn't match)

    All cleaned up

    50/50 shot of the hood

    Ready for the transplant..

    With its big brothers

    More pictures this week!

so.. what did you do with that trunk lip?

Looks like a nice late model. Good luck getting her going again.

Thanks! I actually traded it with my cousin for a mtechII. Why? Interested?

Huh. Didn't know Zender made MtechI replicas. Any better photos of it?

                        Um that doesn't make sense.

Looks like a Hartge one to me:

^^^ Zender, Hartge, and Alpina made basically the same spoiler with slight differences. None of them were an 'mtech I', but they were all very similar.

Its printed zender under the wing in really small letters.. They all look very much alike.
