actually like the pelican book. I didnt buy it, I got it in a car that I bought and I think that it gives a better "layman" type of instructions/directions.

I have been working on front end abit more, Plastic bumper time.

i went to the local Pick-a-part and found a nice white 88+ that had hard impact in the rear but had the nice NO texture front valance so I pulled the bumper, shocks, valance, fogs etc etc

I stripped the front down. No more driving boards here.

I sanded the valance down, I kinda lucked out and found one that was totally straight and there is only 1 little ping dent that is no noticiable until you are right ontop of it. I primed and painted it. took the cutter to the towing eyes and offered it all up it seemed to fit ok so I painted bombed the parts (spray cans, generic black just for now as It will all need painting again later.

If you look closely you will see seats in the car and also test fitting of the new wheels

 Grey interior why isn't it mine! Is that a recover? Nice tires, I have the same and enjoy them

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

Wow. Wasting no time tearing into it. This is pretty much what I did when I got my E30. I knew what I wanted and what it needed, so I just tore it down and built it back up.

Prepare to do this a lot though

For the check engine light. Do a STOMP test.

Basically get in the car, turn the ignition to the on position, but don't start it, press the gas down all the way 5 times, and the check engine light will flash a code.

                        Google for the result.

Nice work, i think that you should let your son do most of the work on the car, imo us youngsters tend to take better care of stuff WE worked hard for, i wish my e30 was half as clean as that one when i first started driving it
