Just got a update from the dealer I'm getting the MegaSquirt system from, and it turns out he can't deliver it.
He got a new offer, and that was to get a kdfi system instead, so that's what I'll be running. :-)
It uses the same sofware as MS so I don't think it will be less good. :-)
Ordered some new parts today.
Complete set of brake pipes + the T-joint
Wire for the handbrake
Brakeshields (?) for the rear
Bushing for the differential
Oil for the differential
New pipe from the gastank to the fillinghole.
Black sideindicators
Now I must wait for the snow to get the hell away, and to have warmer, better weather. :) I just moved out from my mom, and my new garage isn't big enough to work on the car in. That sucks!
My E30 325i. Slowly getting on it's wheels

Those roads are crazy!! In my part of the world a broken white line means pass. Note to self, when in Norway.....!
Nice work on the car.Leave a comment:

Some new parts coming in now.
I just bought a limited slip differential, 3,73, 188 house. Think tha will fit nicely. New oil and bushing for it, and it will be smug I think. :)
To bad it's 10-15 degrees below, and I don't have a garage big enough to work on the car.
I also bought a stand alone engine management system. I chose the cheaper megasquirt system.
The performance camshaft is for sale, because I will buy a new one that is better. I think it wil get upgraded valvesprings, valves and rockerarms as well. Get more revs on it! :DLeave a comment:

Recieved some new parts today.
The picture speak for it self. Comes from a S50B30.
I have to get a new engine management system to make my plans real. My plan is to run with this intake, 6 tubes and 6 motorcycle airfilters. :)

Recieved a package today. The first I see when I open it is this.

Well. That can come in handy. Espessially when it's a M3 evo 3 steeringwheel further down in the package. :D:D

Also a new embelem for the bonnet.

Well. Two years have passed since I made this thread, so I'm 19 now. ;)
You guys remember I mentioned a strange scrapingsound from the engine?
Well. I got a film where you can hear it quite clear.Sounds like it's coming from the front of the engine, and it's a high frequent metallic scrape. I comes when I start it, but when I rev it a bit and drive, say 200 yards, it's gone. And doesn't come back until I'm idling for a while. Wondering what the hell can make tat noise.
I've taken some of it apart, but I'm non the wiser. Checked the rotor, water pump, generator, campulley and belt, but all of those are fine. Thought it was air in the coolingsystem that causes the waterpump to cavitate, but took the fanbelt of and started, so the generator and waterpump didn'n move, but the sound was still there.

Hell no. I'm not selling the Mito's! :) If all my plans comes to life, this will be a M3 in a few years. My plan is to buy a crashed M3 and rebuild the body on this one. Then I will have 5-lug. :)Leave a comment:

Sell me the Mitos!!
Seriously. I could use a set of those, and it doesn't look like you have a use for 5x120 wheels. I could even trade you the 15" 3-piece OZ Fittipaldi Fittistars in my sig. :)Leave a comment:

I think that is cool to hear.
Well. The first post is made two years ago, so I'm 19 years now. :)
And, finally I have fixed the front bumper! It was about time!! :D
The spots on the ground is from a little oil leak. The seal at the fromt of the camshaft is no quite good, but I don't care since I'll probably mount the new head this winter anyway. :D

The side indicators have been blacked out, economy-style. Won't ever share how I did it. :)Leave a comment:

The car is running fine now. I have swapped to 535i fuel injectors, but doesn't have a adapter to mount a air filter on the afm. So it gets a lot on petrol now! :D
Anyways. Today I got my new rims. They are not very good looking yet, but with a bit of refurbishing I think they will be fine. The rims are 3 split 17x8 OZ Mito. I will buy two new outer rings, and possibly one inner ring, as one is cracked. But I will try to weld it first.
The reason I bought them, was that they are dirt cheap. New they cost little more than $3200. I paid $240. :D

One problem after another with this car!
First is that noise I have no clue what is. I can't hear it as much now thou.
And then I hit the bump in the road. Pics speak for them selves:

New pan

Oilpump is also out. Checked if it could be the source of the strange sound, but couldn't hear anything when I spun it, so gues it's fine.

Next problem was that the old pan was from a E34 525i. And they have the dipstick in the pan itself. The new one came from a E30 325i, and they have the dipstick in the block. Found a hole that was plugged in the block, and started to try getting it out. Turns out it was put there to stay there. But after a bit of swearing, hammering and a bit more swearing i came out. :D
E30 vs E34 dipstick. E30 at the bottom.

The gasket was a hell to make stay in place, but I managed to get it there eventually.
Car worked fine.. That is untill I ran out of petrol and burned my fuelpump!! Arrrrggghh!Leave a comment:
