Looks good man, thats some nice work. I been to Norway and ridden on some of those 1lane, 2 way roads. Absolutely insane. I want to say it was along a fjord near Bergen but I can't say for sure, it was along time ago and I was only 8. Beautiful scenery though, too bad my dad never got a chance to see it cause his eyes were glued to the road trying to keep the car from hitting an oncoming vehicle and killing his entire family. Needless to say he as a little bit stressed. -
I have done some work on the stereo in the last days.
I have bought and installed a Pioneer DEH-P75BT cd-player.
I have redone the apolstry on the wooferbox, and installed the woofers.

After:

Woofers:

All wired up and almost done. I will mount the amplifyer to the back of the wooferbox to get more room for baggage. Sounded pretty good! :D

I'm so glad that the only thing left to do is to just some finishing touches like painting the bumper and so on. I have decided that if I find a cheep m-tech 1 rear bumper, I will buy it and try to modify it so it fits. Then paint the front, sideskirts and rear black with silver stripes.
Thanks btw! :D
It helped a lot on the looks to get rid of the eyebrows. Those will clearly not come back on again! ;)Leave a comment:

Tested it today. Holy cow! It is more than enough power for a 18 year old with a fresh licence, that's for sure! :)

I have changed my steering column becaure a bearing was gone, so instead of pressing out the bearing from the one I had, I took it all out and replaced it with one from a parted out car.
So then I have mounted a temporarely M-tech 1 wheel, but when my money allows it, I will change it with a M-tech II with alcantara.
I have also mounted the left hand side fender, and adjusted it, sideskirt plus the front bumper. The bumper need a layer of paint, but that will not be done yet, because my money does not allow that yet.
I am also searching ebay for new foglamps, but cant find any that fit pre-facelift. The old ones are cracked.
I am considering to but new chromekidneys also. The one on the pictures are borrowed ones so I could adjust the bonnet and fender.
I think it looked good with chrome and white ellpsoids.
I have also borrowed a set of rims and tires to I get my own painted.
I have also washed it a bit, but I need to do it once again and be more thorough, and polish it. I have also washed the enginebay a bit.

Slow progress at the moment. The economy of a 17 year old student sets it's limits. :(
School is taking much of my time, and it's time for applying for jobs and such, so interview's and stuff are also taking much of my time, with lots of travelling.
But i'm planning to get it on the road very soon with new parts, and me walking out the door with a licence in my pocket! :nice:Last edited by Larsinnj; 03-22-2009, 10:04 AM.Leave a comment:

Finished up the brakes today, so now it's standing on it's own wheels. Finally.

Did also mount the locking-pin on the brace for the bonnet. Don't know what it's called in english.Leave a comment:

^ very true. around here i-75, i-275, and i-4 all look like that haha. not to mention basically every road running through tampa is completely packed just the same. our roads can also be pretty rough but i imagine its much worse in climates with snow and ice. those roads in norway look insane though especially being 2-way! looks awesome though id love to visit. ive seen a lot of nice e30s in norway. knew an exchange student in highschool from norway so know the girls are good too.Leave a comment:
