    m50,final answer build

Hello all i have a 1989 325is black on tan, and it had motor problems so i pulled a motor from another e30 and had the head rebuilt and then was going to build the block myself. After some research i decided to last minute after buying all the parts for the rebuild to go with the m50, because i got a good deal on a e36.

    alright in the beginning

This is the car the m50 will be going into.

on jacks with motor about to be pulled

Motor pulled final shot of m20

motor pulled, bay cleaned and resprayed, e30 rack off, soon e36 rack on, treehouse brake booster installed.

The donor car. 1994 325is with 120k on it and oz rims and m3 front bumper.

    reason why it was totalled

gutted almost everything and still have stuff for sale ended up only paying 250 for the motor tranny and harness after selling off stuff.

next to come in a couple weeks will be; all parts recieved for the swap, just need time to put it in. replacing clutch and waiting for header. m50 will be in it soon. more pictures when further along.

Where in MO are you? Good luck with the build! Looks like fun.

EDIT: I may be able to relieve you of excess parts for the m20 rebuild.

Me, too! 44 side, though. More like southwest. Good to know the midwest is getting popular!
