thats brutal dude, you were making some awesome progress.

i have the carpet out of my car right now and i was wondering how the hard plastic trim that clips over the rubber door seal with the bristles clips on along the bottom there. it's what holds the carpet in on the sides by the doors.

i was able to partially pry it up but couldn't get it the whole way out, it felt like it was gonna snap. any hints?

i just used a flat head screw driver and put it as close to the clip as possible, then put some force on it. half of the clips wont come out with it, but it stays secure in my with only 3 in as long as you space them out. be forceful but remember its 20 year old plastic ;)

plan is to look at it tomorrow or thursday and see the damage under the hood. i know for sure the radiator to the grills are fucked, leaked a lot of coolant all over the highway.

if its not to bad im going to try fixing it i have everything to fix the front end except valence, bumper and core support in my basement.

if not i know 2 decent ones in the area that i was looking at even before this.

the damage isnt really as bad as it seems the rad has been pushed back but thats the worst of it really. We have to pull the front end off to see but from the looks of it a new core support and obliviously what you see needs to be replaced but Combined me and him have everything but a front bumper and valence. But cant tell you untill the hood and fenders are off..

I like your new car. More pics please. As the owner of a black on black 1990iS myself I feel the pain of you loosing your old car. I think my next e30 is going to be a calypsorot
