Sounds good Jay!
Just got the car aligned, I was surprisingly not too far off... pretty even on -3 degrees of toe in each wheel. :p
Set that back to spec (.15) and called it a day.
Driving around I can definately tell there's a crapload of torque on standby.... but the acceleration is OK. I'm thinking my CEL light issue is a bad O2 sensor. The CEL light goes out when I'm driving.
It shows up only in 3 occasions.... idling, slowing down, and every now and then, while cruising... the whole car will want to bog and shut off for a second. It happens every now and then as if something is loose. The CEL light comes in almost immediately when that happens and stays on for a few seconds before it goes off....... until the issue happens again. Driving it for 50 miles it happened about 10 times.
It's also running very rich still... I wasted 1/4 tank on these 50 miles. And I only ran the gears once.
Also found out that 4th gear is grinding to go in if you shift anything above extremely careful..... fun. :p
All in all, it should be ready for tomorrow.

So pop the champagne bottles I guess.... the car made it's first drive around town!!!
It's running like crap... still running pig rich. We swapped AFMs, Coolant temp sensors, etc and still nothing.
It's funny because I'm shifting at 1500rpms on a 3.25 lsd to not make too much noise, and the torque is there to pull you from sub-1000rpms back up.
As for the rest... I ran 1st and 2nd gear once..... I'm less than excited to say it's really not that fast. In the wet with 215s I definately didn't break any tires loose, which wasn't the case with the turbo car whatsoever.
So I guess now it's chip, cam, and lets see what happens. I'm going to spray the crap out of this motor until I can blow this one and get a B35.
We'll see how it does on Sunday. Alignment tomorrow morning, then I'm going to check out my rear right ebrake assy, because something is rattling in there.
But all in all, I'm just glad the car drove for the first time.Leave a comment:

@ emissions first of all. wth was this!?
I can't see it either. Watch it turn out to be something really simple.
and mr. we'll see how the m30 performs first d= my s52 kiks m30 ass all day, every day and even when its throttle cable its broken! :finger: hate hate hate
but thanks to you, now we'll look like the dorifotu twins out there… and I’ll probably be the retarded one since I haven’t drifted much since the february qualifiers in gville.
Hope you get that resolved man. Later.Leave a comment:

OR Points in PA when you get busted for something stupid.hahaha figured you were trying something there... your talking about a forum that does nothing but try to get around emissions...
my pops lives in SC and my Mom in FL and i have considered many times getting a DL there and registering my cars so i wouldn't have to deal with emissions anymore

Meh, I expected more gullible people to see how good this would turn out.
In reality I only paid $7 and got the car tagged/registered/ready.
Emissions? Pfft.... this is FL :pLeave a comment:
