Lots of progress, no posting. Been in the shop for a few weeks staying till 3 am trying to get the car finished.
    Seats and harnesses in

Towed the vehicle up to SLC to get the roll cage certified. It is good down to 8.50 NHRA certified good for 3 years.

I told myself I wasnt gonna waste time on cleaning the bay....

Pulled the motor from the black widebody.

Power steering delete real quick. And dropped the motor in veeeerrrry carefully!

    Gonna go twins. lol

We have a few e30's being worked on... LOL

    Buttoning everything up.

    Boots hooking up gauges.

Took it to the track a few hours later.

Had some suspension hop @ the track, switched to stiffer springs and better bilsteins.

Ok guys, I am in the middle of prepping the white car for the season ahead! My main goal is to do well @ Mfest in Vegas. Changing over to all bias-ply setup m/t et drags 26x10x15 rear and some skinnies up front! Excited to see how we can do with the new tires.
Just Installed a 10pt. Roll cage, and pulled the m20 out.

Good times with even better friends!

Did one last burnout with the m20 motor... It was a GOOD one!(vid to come)

    Motor out... That was fast!

De-greased bay... Not that there was much grease... Rick kept this thing nice!

Ya man, lets see a picture of yours! The e30 fit PERFECTLY I did have to fold the mirrors in and it was inches on each side!
Mine's a bit of a pain in the arse; I have to pull a couple double doors off the hinges, then go-jack it to make a 90 degree turn from the garage. *Just* makes it.

It's only for winter storage and upcoming long term jobs (read: turbo). One nice thing is it's below grade so it stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The garage was my big compromise when we bought this place, but it's nice to be able to make the most with whatcha got.

Your basement's nicer than mine though, and your e30. Sucks that the last one got taken out, but looks like this one will make up for the loss.

dunno how I missed this thread before, but sub'd now.
