HOLY SHIT YOUR GEARS ARE LONG!!!
Really diggin the whole package there, glad to see the beast finally in action!!! :D
1. You need and Evo 2 lip to finish off that front end. :pimp:
2. Not a fan of the exhaust. Look into Vibrant, it will sound WAY better! ;)Leave a comment:

The salt offers much less traction than ashpault. If your car can do 175mph on asphault, it might not reach it on the salt due to traction. But the salt is the best place to go fast due to how smooth it is.Leave a comment:

well yeah, but is there more/less traction than asphalt or something? Like if you built a car that could do 175 mph on asphalt, would it be capable of the same speed on salt? Dunno how it works lol.Leave a comment:

You could read this if you have time. Might explain it better.
This was the Utah timing association, and they only have 2 of these style classes. The one I joined was the 130 club, which means you have to get up to 130 in a mile. The other one is the 150 club, where they give you 2 miles to get to 150mph, but you have to have a 4-point roll bar, a 5-point harness, a fire suit and a few more things.
Then you can start licensing for speeds like you have to get a 175mph license and then a 200+, and then an unlimited. You can compete in "classes" at these levels too, your car and displacement and motor work determines where you fall.
Its not really complicated at all I probably just suck at explaining it. haha.
Ummmm The salt is a layer of the earth here in Utah, where there once was a LARGE Saltwater Lake. This is now what is left. The salt is a few feet deep.
Its Delicioius!Leave a comment:

Yeah I don't get it. And what's the difference between salt and asphalt? Aside from the color. ;)Leave a comment:

Explain how this works.. if you got kicked from the 130 class, couldn't you join the 140? :?
Anyway, your car looks fucking badass. I wouldn't change a damn thing. Ok, maybe I'd wash the salt off.Leave a comment:

Yea, traction sux. The surface is hard, but granular. I basically was able to get into boost around 100mph at the top of 3rd and then grab 4th and lay it on. I was running 10.5psi in this event.
So the first run was a "speed calibration" where you check your speed vs. the timing sensors. Here is that run.

The second run I was feathering the throttle because I was worried about traction, but my car was missfiring BIG TIME under part throttle boost... So then I didnt think I was going to make it to 130 by the mile, so then I hammered down and the car ran perfect and TOOK OFF! I then trapped @139.8, which is bad because if you exceed 139.99 you are kicked out of the 130 class.

Here are the pics. :D
Team BIMMER POWA!
