    Had a pretty awesome day.

Well, I've been out of work since October of 2008. I had a pretty awesome interview today. Yes, I know on Good Friday and all. They were working overtime is why they scheduled my interview for today. Any who, this company does some cool stuff. They convert commercial vehicles, i.e. school buses, sprinters, and regular cars/trucks to run on alternative fuels, like CNG, LPG, and they even are looking into electric stuff. They build non-descript armored vehicles, from regular passenger cars up to Ford F-550s and sprinters. The Spinters can handle .45/.50 caliber fire and the others are rated at up to AK sized ammo.

So after a little weld test and small tour, I was told I'd be hearing from them. It's been like 2 years since I've welded anything and at that it was just mild steel. So not only did I impress myself but them as well.

They had a Mercedes sedan and SUV, and a newish Land Rover in there be armored.

I didn't catch which models they were, because they were covered up to keep debris off them. The Mercedes sedan was one of the large ones, like s600 or something. They get plate welded in the doors, firewall, and around the windows. Kevlar is placed on the floors and ceilings.
