That's a pretty broad generalization of a pot smoker, maybe not for PNW though. I hear Eugene is kinda like that. But I also hear you guys get some good weed from British Columbia. :)

I am a very light smoker, maybe every 10 days or so. I never really pay for it (I have two full time smoker friends who share), and I never let it get between me and my job or my studies. So I would say I'm still a productive member of society, even with a quasi-criminal toke once and a while.

I'm not taking it personally at all, but I know a few sXe people who view ANY use of ANY 'harmful' substance in ANY frequency to be damage to the body. Yet they eat white flour foods and drink mountain dew all day.

State Farm didn't drug test after the inital, but I'm making about $20k more a year then when I started there in May '06 and I have 12 days of vacation vs 7 that I end up working two of.

I don't hate weed. I'm all for legalizing it (how many edge guys do you know with that stance). I hate the CULTURE of it. And I drink caffeine.

I am most certainly not one of "those" edge guys. I don't hate people that smoke or drink. I don't care if my friends drink or smoke. I hang out with people WHILE they do it. I just don't, for many of my own personal reasons. I don't shove it down people's throats, or try to make people think how I do.
