    New X1 SUV and n e38 740i...T?

    How cool is this 7 series?!?!?



    The X1 looks kinda ugly, the proportions of the greenhouse seem to overwhelm the low hood. Also, the rear quarter looks identical to a Nissan SUV. But damn I want that 7! Full link here:

    The BMW X1, the company's foray into the mini-luxo-ute market, was nabbed uncovered for a commercial shoot. Even better than the X1-series, though, is the camera truck.

      Hahaha I can't believe BMW would build a rig like that on an old E38. Truly awesome.

      Oh and that X1 thing looks stupid.

                  Same size as the old passat wagon in the background. Gross gross gross X1, but super awesome 7.

                          Agreed. It lifts too much up from the hood. Reminds me of the 1 series. I finally see what I dislike about the new 1. I love the size and weight, but the front side is goofy, just like on this X1.

                              it really is genius, because modern hollywood uses a fuckn 454 dually chevy that gets like 4mpg... when I saw that truck I was really dissapointed, I thought for sure they would have a diesel or something nicer....

                              bmw is the shit Period!

                              and with all the money they saved they could afford to give out free soda and pretzels at the auto show.

                                              I saw what I thought was a disguised(black w/ white curly-q's) X1 twice in the same day driving through next town over from mine a few days ago. There was no grill, just some ricey-looking wire mesh....I need a camera phone.

                                                  I don't think it is a truck. The guy on the side looks to be hanging out the rear window. I think all that scaffolding is just attached to the roof/trunk area. It's hard to tell though. Anyone got any other pics of it?

                                                  I just can't see why you would covert a 7er into a truck for that purpose. Plus, the rest of it looks bone stock.
