Listen, sport. I'm 28 years old. I watched every episode of this cartoon when I was a kid. I have the entire run of the series on DVD. I'm wearing a god-damn OG Transformers shirt right now, for fuck's sake.

Are there things I DON'T like about the movies? Sure. But overall, I thought the first one kicked serious ass, and the second one looks like it's going to be even better.

I love the transformers. The biggest problem I had with the movie was that they didn't make them look very clean.
During the action it was really hard to follow what was happening because the transforners themselves were muted in color. Like anywhere a transformer didn't have it's real colors was just dark black grey. And they were all like this.
Heavy action scenes got boring because things happened so fast with that muted color, it was imposible to follow very well.
I wish they added more color to each one.

Bah. I was very entertained by the first one.

Good old mindless action, with cool robots, hot girls (everyone always forgets the HOT AS FUCK blonde Aussie girl), and fun to watch.

I didn't forget about her. You know what's crazy? There is another one in the 2nd if you didn't know. I accidentally found out what role she is playing, she is not a replacement for the old Aussie character though.
