Camping in Sedona - Gumball 3000 South Beach

I had not posted in a while and I did not want anyone to miss me so I decided to post up pictures of things that Ive seen over the last few weeks.

First I flew out to Phoenix and went camping in Sedona. A beautiful place and would recommend it to anyone. Well while I was in Sedona we came across the Gumball 3000 race. The finish was this past Friday on South Beach. I would be back in time to see the finish of the Gumball. So below are some pictures of the Gumball.

    Hope you enjoy!

First is Montezuma's Castle out towards Prescott Az.

Looked like a wild time, I am still laughing at the picture of the Phantom Drophead with the sheiks in it.

Holy hell, that's a RSR front end on that widebodied 996 if I'm not mistaken. $$$

Yeah, I remember reading about his entrance in Rolex Grand-Am with the TRG-backed 997 GT3 Cup a while ago. I actually had the pleasure of meeting and having dinner with him in Charlotte, NC when he passed through doing his "The Driver" book tour. Cool guy, however he managed to sponsor a race team is pretty amazing to me.

I guess this will put off any Gumball/Cannonball plans for the Polizei crew for a while.

jeeeez. so many nice cars, I hope that the widebody vette and the challeger have some serious potential to go up against some of those bad ass imports.
