That sticker is so much win. Funny too, considering my wife has a thing for drummers...

      Paging Badvibrations....

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
      Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

Now that I live in the burbs, I'm rocking a roland v-drum setup, with mesh heads. My acoustic set was a tama imperial star ala stewart copeland rock fusion kit fr the 80's. I even kept my vintage zildjian K's, and a pair of new-beat HH's fr my wanna be neil pert days.

it is in my spare bedroom, i have an agreement with my neighbors not to play after 8:30 PM so i don't really have any hassles. it sucks having to relearn how to play with my right hand after the accident though!

Here is a pic of my setup. Its a pearl SRX session custom in "vintage fade". Its a sweet kit for the price. Im pretty sure pearl replaced the session line though. toms are 8, 10, 12, 16 with a 14 in snare.

I used to play on a huge tama kit and downsized a couple years back to a gretsch catalina club with a 18" bass drum. small 4 piece with an extra shotgun snare off the hihat.

I do not get a lot of time to play on my own other than teaching kids in my band program

Ahhh nice! I miss playing. Sold my kit when I went to college since I didn't have room for it anymore.

Played from 3rd grade up through my senior year of high school. I'd love to get another kit, nice stuff is just so fucking expensive!

Although I guess if I wasn't dicking with building an E30 I could have easily afforded a NICE set.

you can actually find some sweet kits that are a few years old on craigslist for pretty good prices.

nice! my next step is to get a rack, if i can find one cheap or get into another band.

do you have a gig rug or carpet under your set? i keep watching your HH's run away from you in that video! nice work though!

Yeah I've seen some good deals pop up locally, but you've got to be ready to go, the good stuff goes quick.

Although a 6-7 piece set of DWs with all the hardware is still going to run $2k used.

BTW, do you know any double-bass monsters out here in Socal? does anybody? My band is looking for a new drummer. He has to be a double-bass maniac to a click.
