awesome new website for you engineers out there

Wolfram|Alpha brings expert-level knowledge and capabilities to the broadest possible range of people—spanning all professions and education levels.

it will solve any equation you type into it, give any stats, calculate anything that is numerical or tell you any data.

for example type in a complex differential equation and it will tell you everything about it.

put in "superheated steam 600 degrees C 768 kPa" and it will tell you everything about that too.

Note: it is NOT a search engine, it is not like Google at all, it is more like a database or problem solving engine if you know what i mean

Yes! It finally launched! I've been looking forward to this for a long time now. Too bad my school career is just ending, can you imagine the possibilities of having an iphone or smart phone w/ internet access to this site on a test??

heh heh. Yeah that's why the chemistry department at my school banned cell phones during tests. Anyone with a visible cell phone automatically failed the test. This was because some people were caught text messaging answers during the test.

what happens when you divide by zero on that site?

                      somethin like this?
                      <---Goodnight, sweet prince

Eat well, stay fit, die anyway.

This site is so cool it can even handle dividing by zero. It just cooly hands over the answer, like "yeah, that's right, try to divide by zero to fool me, can't fool me, i know what happens when you divide by zero, that's right, thought you were too smart for me, didn't ya? well you're not!"

This will impress you. Remember slaving away in Calc II trying all kinds of methods to integrate a complex function? type this bad boy into Wolfram: ((x^3)(lnX))/cos x. Pretty simple-looking expression, no?

check out that integral. That's no integral, that's a space station!

its got polylogarythm functions in it! what the hell is a polylogarythm function??
