Ok, so I have a defective xbox360, not the biggest problem of my day but w/e. it gives me the "open tray" error which basically is where no matter what you put in the tray, it will read it for about 4 seconds and then say "open tray" as if nothing is there. I have put up with this problem for about 3 months now and I think it is finally a permanent problem with my xbox. I called xbox support and since its out of warrenty I'd have to pay 100 dollars to ship it to them and have it repaired. I can either do that, Or, keep my broken xbox and buy a new one for 200 bucks and destroy the old one in some fun manner.

What would you do? And if you choose the latter, how would you destroy the old one?

I think you should look on criagslist to see if anyone can fix it themselves. for cheap. but if that doesnt work the 200 dollar solution sounds good.

If i do it, I might also buy a cheap hatchet and try to hit it from like 10 yards or something.

and then get a fire axe and go office space on it lol. I don't really want it back cause it will just be a liability.

i smashed mine and it was fun! my xbox kept saying it was over heating 6 minutes after i turned it on, and it would just shut it's self off. tried to get microsoft to fix it and they said it would cost me $90. so a took it into the garage and threw it at the ground as hard as i could. felt good. i think you should roll the e30 over it a few times.

Send it to microsoft and have them fix it
