i don't know what the hell that thing is. supertrapp exhaust?
its a disc setup like a supertrapp, but there really isn't a muffler there. pretty much a straight pipe and some diffuser discs for backpressure. that think must be fucking loud.

glad you guys started this thread. as the weather gets warmer, i start thinking of getting a bike. crotch rockets never really appealed to me....but i love the old school.
Ive been talking about getting a motorcycle again for a while. I've got an old school mint 74 XL100 trail bike all original as well that I fell in love with long ago. I dunno, it caught my eye, and I have a bunch of gear head friends that owe me money at some point.
Great now I gotta post more pics of my junk ;) It's late and I have no electric in my garage so tom I'll post pics of my 74 cb450. Currently working on shift linkage (shifter and brake levers and brackets from '00 F4i and some other random bikes). I got distracted from the bike and '67 bug by house renovations but now its summer! Pics tomorrow:D

yeah, buyin shit like that kinda defeats the purpose of these style bikes. Kinda like how choppers got out of hand with billet bullshit.
Building one of these means leanin how to make stuff and picking up bits from swap meets. theres no reason you should spend more than $1500-2000 to make a neat lil scoot.
that Suzy is a perfect example.
+1 but i thought that they had some cool stuff and the pictures give a good example of what a cafe bike looks like.
this has got to be my favorite Honda cafe bike. Maybe someday this is what my 550 will look like.
man this one is savage!
i am helping my friend build one of these bikes out of a '74 cb360. ill post pics up as it comes along. we are rebuilding the carbs soon. just waiting on parts.

Some pics of mine. One is a close up of my rearset setup. It's off an '01 F4i and some type of yamaha....(it's just tacked in place @ this point) Front fender is off an early 80's suzuki (needs to be trimmed where it mounts to shock tube). Also you can see my '67 bug and my "pinstriping" talents. I need more practice
