My parent's aren't dropping that much money, I have $3500 in the bank, but thats all the money I have worked for, and all my savings since lower school, yes I save my money.

I am thinking the most financially practical decision at the moment is to buy a cheap e30, like my family's 318i 4d, because I certainly don't have enough to insure and maintain a e36 m3, not at least till I'm a junior in college.

6) I see things from both ends of the spectrum, that's what's annoying. That's why I wouldn't race Nik, and get my car stuck in 2nd. I wouldn't race an old French car and then wonder why it isn't spinning like a top when it decides to give out. I also wouldn't destroy the trans in my parent's 4wd car, or consider a car that gives out on hills when it's not busy "in the shop" a solid daily driver for the future. Oh I'm sorry but my mentality doesn't allow me to just drop my car off and let somebody else work on it. I think I'm a person that's pissed off at some dumb mofo that tried to shoot me down. Look, your car is a piece, your parents cars can't handle your mad tyte shifting, and everyone with a half decent car at school feels stalked in some way by you. I mean come on now you walk up to people like "hey you still have the ___" like they know you, put up with the bullshit that ensues, then feel the need to justify your existance more, so you let everyone know how fun smashing around Skyline and other roads is. If people found you, your car, or anything you said interesting then you wouldn't head out to do some driving alone, but the long and the short of things is you and your dad's Peugeot are laughable at best, and all you can do is make excuses for it.

Sure your car has weak aftermarket, do custom work. Port match shit. Swap injectors. Lighten a flywheel and other bits. Get your crankshaft outta the engine and get it shot peened polished and knife edged. Make a more efficient intake. When cars are new it's this kind of upgrading that happens. Besides, didn't you say your parents were tossing money towards a new car? Something around $3000? One that doesn't give up on hills and drop shift linkage when you shift? Amazing how you said "only" before that, like $3000 can't get you anything decent. If I had that much to spend I most certainly woundn't be complaining.
