I clean pools. I took some equipment out of the back of my truck to clean a client's spa. When I got back from cleaning the spa, there was an old car battery in the space left by the equipment. I took it out and put it on the side of their house where they wouldn't find it real soon. I think that they thought I wouldn't notice it for a while and then wonder how it got there. WTF?

not like a 911 has the easiest battery to get out of the car with its ever so long battery cables and usually buried under the crap in the trunk, then the carpet and the hold down can be a pain.

how exactly did they gain access to the battery?
break in to the car and pop the hood?
pry up the end of the hood to get to the catch?
