      unemployed...
i have been looking hard for a job, but nothing is coming up.
on top of that i recently herd that they are closing down my culinary program at city college for one year.
anyone in sf or near by bay area want to employ me? :D
im a good carpenter and mason. i can also cook and work on cars.
i have been surviving by doing odd jobs here and there like brake pads, and oil changes and other stuff.

Been in and out of jobs for the past 2 years, but I've got a pretty steady one going right now. Definitely not getting rich though.

4+ years solidly employed, internet advertising is still booming even in the midst of this recession.

                    3. Started my web design company 2 years ago, I'm a professional Opera Singer and all of that work is 1099.

Planning on separating myself from the company and going on "Funemployment" for a few months a year to recoup my taxes! Luckily working as an 1099 contractor for opera doesn't disqualify me from "funemployment" so I get to continue working on the company and performing opera as much as I want and the government still gives me free money (otherwise known as my tax dollars)!!

                      That's a pretty sweet setup.

1, but the commute is a bag of fuck and a half.

I am employed at a small electronics manufacturing company that builds battery chargers, testers, and conditioners for various aircraft and military applications. Pretty solidly employed, and at the moment I'm what myself and my coworkers call me "Mr. Activator", which is a unit we build and I'm the only one who is and knows how to build them right now. :D With my current legal troubles, I still have rides to work between one of the two brothers that work together there with me.

solidly employed (contractually obligated for the next 9-10 years) and loving it. New phase of training starts Monday.

Am I the only one not self-employed that absolutely loves my job?

Own my own businesses, used car lot (vanguard motorwerks, LLC), real estate investing, own part of a promotion company, part owner of a start up clothing company, working on opening up a detailing/tint/ lube and light service shop in conjunction with the used car lot. There is a lot more that i am doing but i'm only listing the solid ones. I'm not going to become a millionaire working for some one else...

oh and I love what I do
