I just wanted to say. I really like Iron Maiden

[QUKBMER]

man, I used to have all them albums and a ton more, I wonder where they all are today??

I saw Iron Maiden and Anthrax in Chicago when I was about 15y/o,('89 I think) was the best concert I've been to to date!

Best concert i went to was in 1990. Operation rock & roll at irvine meadows. The line up was Dangerous toys-Metal church-Motorhead-Alice cooper-Judas priest.

Fear Of The Dark. Hands down my favorite. :)

Bumping this thread from the dead, listened to some of the "Piece of Mind" album on the way home from work today, (To Tame a Land, Where Eagles Dare, etc) And i remembered this thread.

up the irons!

Nice to have made a thread for the ages!!

you were in 7th grade in 1980?? man, that would have been awesome to grow up with Iron Maiden. They were making music long before I was born, and are still making good music. That alone makes them great.

There are some benefits to being of riper age.... Im finding that out and Im only 31... ;-)

The first vinyl albums my mom bought me were motley crue/too fast for love----ozzy blizzard of oz---ac/dc back in black---black sabbath paranoid---and killers.

Sounds like an awesome mom to me (I mean that in the nicest way possible)!!!

Iron Maiden = Cool

Killers is a timeless classic (as well as Paranoid), and Paschendale is a masterpiece. The whole album is amazing.

Paschendale has to be one of my all time favorite* non-electronic music songs ever. All their ~8min songs are gold.
