My pops has visited China. I highly doubt anyone nearby is moving out. The population in China is so excessive that he says that there is little to no regard for human life there. He was walking on the sidewalk by a construction zone and someone just dropped a huge concrete block on the sidewalk where many people were walking.
He says people just looked up for a second, and kept walking.
Over here the people responsible for that would be drowning in lawsuits.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

Looks like the sub grading under the footings and the slab on the side of the building in the direction that it fell. Did not get compacted enough and settled, or the ground underneath the work was really soft and was not dug out to a sufficient depth and replaced with good sand to a sufficient depth and width to support the weight of the building. Also looks like the footings on the building were not wide nor deep enough for a building of that size as well as the lack of pileing down far enough to get to good ground.
Its got plenty of Rebar in it, its the only reason its still in the shape of a building not a pile of rubble. Look at how wet it is, I bet they are building on a swamp or other low wet fill area and the site was not prepped properly for the amount of rain that area getsOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

yes no value for life because of over population. We see that example developing in the united states as well. Not enough jobs to meet the demand.
We need another world war to control the human population. Yes... its very radical, but it is a problem that will eventually turn into a world war whether we like it or not.

Though this sort of thing doesn't surprise me, unless you're going to pay the big bucks to live in an expat targeted complex a lot of the construction is shady.
To qualify my statements: My family lived in Shanghai for 3 years and my brother for 4 as ex-pats. I've spent upwards of 6 months there over three years and seen a lot of these types of buildings up close.

This building suffered a foundation failure and the building tipped over. Like physics dictated it would.
