Volume conversion, WET vs. DRY gallons

constructing my round fiberglass 15" DVC subwoofer enclosure, and trying to determine the volume (precisely) of its internal size.

the problem i face is the instide has a few chaotic shapes..the outside is formed/ molded smooth, but i NEED to find its precise volume.

i am using liquid by gallons to convert, but found there is WET and DRY...wtf ?

which one do i use, as this is dramattically different ?

that link reports a easy way to determine gallons to c.f. but im stuck on wet/dry

Volume is volume. Doesn't matter what material it is. The only thing that gets weird is dry ounces and fluid ounces. One is a measure of mass, the other of volume.

Oh yeah, you NEED to have subwoofers in a car to further distract your attention from what's going on around you.

Just make sure you calculate it precisely because you'll get precisely $1100 for your car once you R3V it.

thanks.. im looking for the correct volume.
if i knew its exact dimensions (and it was perfectly circular, i could figure it out..the problem here is there is a chaotic shape, and i am using liquid (water) to calculate its volume. i stated nothing about matierial being part of the equation, rather an explanation (for those that know its characteristics, wrinkles/ thickness).

and my question (since you are relatively understanding my dilemma ) is what reference should i use...
wet or dry gallons to determine the volume of the enclosure (again, when using water to fill it.)
the difference is about 2 gallons of "matter"

          and to add

          i have no distactions,
i have no idea what your implying or talking about.
          wtf is 1100 ?
why do you think im not "calculating it correctly" (aint you reading a post about doing just that)
your post is all OPINION and if you helped a little bit, i would not bash ya here.

Wet is volume, dry is weight.

It has been repeatedly stated that wet or dry volume is the same. I can understand that and I a precisely a moron.

If you are using water to measure the volume, why not use a proper international standard and measure it in litres? Litres are the same wet or dry, hot or cold, upside down or backwards, even in space or underground.

And 1 litre of water = 1 kilogram

                            Isn't is beautiful? :)
