Anyway in my opinion computers are for the internet and work, TV is where all the entertainments at.

For example I have a good 50 people who I know and am friends with on Xbox and can play with, but I don't know a single person who plays computer games.

fact is some people spend as much cash on their pc's as a clean 24v swapped e30 would cost, a little extreme however it surely blows any 360 & ps3 out of the water in terms of performance. (and in some cases reliability rrod ftl)

and it should, considering the huge price difference ;)

But you do make a point, the console fanbase is much bigger then the pc gaming fanbase, however their is still a lot of us out here :up:

one of my roommates plays computer games all day, and he can't play with the xbox controls at all. on the other hand, i cannot play on the keyboard. it's just awkward to me.

plus, telling people you play computer games, regardless of what it is, seems so much more nerdy than telling people you play xbox.

Better graphics.

And it doesn't matter what shooters were "originally" designed for, we all know technology improves.

Better graphics. Better controls, with a controller each finger is designated to a button or two, while on the computer one hand takes the mouse and the other is needed to press the 10+ buttons on the keyboard.

i'm sorry but i have to disagree with you. first person shooters are better in my opinion on a traditional keyboard and mouse layout. nothing will match the accuracy of being able to flick a mouse, no joystick can do that.

you're missing the point here. this is what separated the pc versions from everything else, the online communities the spawned from these game titles along with the custom maps and so on. its hard to sway someone that clearly has a bias towards console gaming. i tried getting the hang of first person shooters on console systems but to me it was just to awkward.

regardless, my pre-order might be cancelled as a result. if this petition can actually get something done, there might actually be hope for the console based versions as well.
