    356 kit car?

I saw a porsche 356 kit car this weekend that used a VW pan which made it super cheap but I can't find anyone who sells such a kit. Anyone know of a company that sells a 356 kit that uses the entire pan similar to this..

close, but I'm looking for a un-assembled one. Kit car done e30 style...cheap. I'm not throwning Porsche badges on it or anything. Just looking for a fun lightweight car. I want to buy a bug rip the body off and drop the fiberglass on. Then let it nickle and dime me to death.

They are not the real thing. I have driven both and you can feel the diffrence between the two. Still fun cars though.

I wanna kit for a BMW 507, like this:

An M20 would be plenty to power that, even though they came with a V8.

of course you can tell a difference. The kit is 10,000 the real thing is 100,000, that is a real difference you can feel.

Hardly even close. We have a customer who has a porsche spyder kit car with a worked VW motor. It's fast, handles like a dream and probably cost around $30k all said and done. When the realize the real one is going to be at least half a million, which would you rather drive around in and have fun with? Even if I had a real one I'd still buy the replica to have fun with and not worry about crashing.

We have a 1929 Mercedes Roadster kit car, that thing is a blast. Everyone who sees it loves it.

Looks just like this, but the whole body on ours is white:

No, I am taking about preformence. I have driven both a replica cobra and the real thing. there is a diffrence between the two. Bit the replica did have a 460 instead of the 427 so that might be why but still felt alot of diffrences between the two. But thats just me. I would rather have the real thing then a clone or a replica.
