pontiac and/or 70's fire bird forum?

ok. so i need to find a good forum for early pontiacs and/or '78 fire birds. i have recently been doing work on my friend's '78 fire bird, and it seams every time i fix one thing another brakes. just replaced all the spark plugs, the starter, the distributor cap, and the oil and fuel filter. now there is a massive coolant leak right near the passenger side fire wall. the coolant is also leaking threw the dashboard onto the passenger side floor. could it have something to do with the heater core? i don't see why coolant lines would be running threw that area of the car...
so if any of you guys knows whats up with this car, or knows a good forum or other sores of good info on these cars please help me out!

ps. i have the haynes manual for this car. just isn't helping me enough right now. ;)

yes the heater core is shot if you have coolant on the inside plus leaking at the pass fire wall IIRC the core is right behind the glove box and just towards the center of the car. Not that hard to change out Just kinda time consuming, if you have to pull the dash out, I dont remember if you have to on those or not.

What do you expect for 30 year old car, lost of stuff is old or has not been replaced in a long time. Looks like its in good shape for 70's Fbody. Any thing that old is simple as shit to work on (with a few exceptions)

          thanks for the pointer man.
yeah this car has been easy to work on. the 2 spark plugs on the passenger side nearest to the fire wall were a bitch to get to because they are right under a bunch of air con shit! i think we are going to delete the air con system.
i just signed up on both the fbody and pontiac forums so i should have some good quality info soon.
the car has some slight rust in the trunk and some rust that is a bit worse around the back passenger side window molding that needs to be cut out and fixed. but other wise the car is clean. then of cores all the rubber bushings in the car have gone bad. the steering has about a mile of play in it!
