I had a 2004 Saabaru Linear (RS Wagon) blew the motor twice, @ 3600 Miles and @ 14,000 Miles.. through a rod bearing each time.. Warranty ruled and I went through 6 rental cars.

However I think my car was a freak. But it seriously kicked ass offroad and was great for driving friends and hauling film equipment around.

Here's an important question: gold wheels or black wheels? I do not plan on tinting the windows, so I am leaning towards gold, maybe gold with a black lip if I can find something tasteful. What I'd really love is OZ Rally Asfaltos in black, but they are heavy, expensive, and hard to obtain in the US.

As for why I'm not tinting, I plan on doing catback and I do not want 2 illegal things on the car at one time. (Even though I would keep the tint within legal limits, I do not want the extra attention of tint + exhaust + Baltimore = cops hassling me religiously.)

No, it was just on it's way to being airborne (see: rear tire). However, it did have a solid 4-6 inch wheel gap..

A couple of my friends are big in to scoobie's.

The other day we installed a cat-back, intake, mudflaps, blacked out grill, and blacked the tails.

I am assuming you did a saab front end swap on the subaru? Not just getting the saab version?

I have a 95 Legacy L Wagon. Great car, but have to sell her. I did some minor power mods and swaybars and brakes to her, really improved the car. As much fun as it was to drive tho, the e30 is much more fun.

My girlfriend has an '04 WRX with gold SSR Type-Cs, Whiteline coilovers, Cusco sways, Greddy exhaust (surprisingly it's *really* tasteful on this car) and a few other fun mods.

That car is FUN to drive. I love it.
