    Ground Control for Jeeps

If I ever decide to go into the Jeep business, shoot me in the head. Can you imagine what it must be like to be a sponsor on Pirate 4X4?

If it's anything like some of the clientele, it would be a trial by fire. But I do go look there for ideas once in a while.

      I think it's R3V for offroaders.

Gotta admit, pirate used to be a lot cooler (cutthroat)...kinda softened up and just became a bit of a shitshow. That said, some of the best fab/cutting edge rockcrawling/wheeling stuff goes on there.

          OMG that is awesome.

I just want a little style for my dd and will be doing some minor offroading for fun. No serious trail rig tho.

My e30 is going to be turned into a weekend/track car.

actually heres a better site about it.

Let’s face it—drivetrain breakage is a natural part of four-wheeling. And for many Jeep owners, one of the first steps to combat this is to install a Dana 44 front axle.

I was just giving you a hard time, D30s can be built to do surprisingly well depending on the terrain and whether you're locked. Can't help but like the clearance if you're not breaking it!

pbb is where its at. most of the gen4x4 has turned into politics, bitching, and giveaways, but there like you said, the best fabwork and builds are all there.

yeeks, that's a ton of money to blow on a D30.

IMO 3.5 is 33-35 territory with proper trimming, but I'm in the as-low-as-possible-for-the-tire-size school. Especially if you're DDing, there's no need to raise your CG that much.

i would stay the hell away from rustys.
