IMO, cheating in video games means to obtain an unfair advantage over someone. Since both people playing on split screen TV can screen watch, it's ridiculous to tell somebody not to.

There are tactics to defeat a screen watcher as well. Zoom into a wall with a sniper rifle etc. Then you can screen watch them to your hearts content.

I will only do it if i am losing by a lot and getting frustrated. If its close or im winning, its not that hard to keep your eyes on your own screen. But my brother obviously does it then gets defencive and wont admit it when he is called out. Thats the worst!

We would actually put up a cardboard divider on two player split screen when we played Goldeneye.

We also banned crouching, and Oddjob.

the option to screenwatch is available to everyone, w/ or w/o morals, therefore it is not cheating to do so. I pwn face all day long at halo 1,2,3 this way and people bitch all day long... whatever.
