i hate to admit it, but i wondered the same thing when i first got my iphone. "everything else has to be done through itunes, so why not photos, too?" is what i thought.

Pshh. I shoot with my circa 1952 brownie. When I make POV porn I use my BW 16mm. I am always 100% certain that I'm not smug or arrogant. Me and my friends like to make fun of people who flaunt current technology. Talk about sheeple, right?

      Can I get a wi-five?

I don't have any issues with the keyboard in portrait or landscape. I'll admit it does take a bit of getting used to, but all phones take getting used to. It's the most capable because there isn't anything that another phone on the market that a 3g/3gs can't. Between the apple app store and jailbroken apps the g1 really doesn't compare. For the record I have used a G1 extensively, my brother owned one for about 2 months before he unlocked a samsung epix and gave the g1 to his girlfriend. He's a T-mobile network tech who got it for free, and even he wouldn't use that half baked pile.

i've reached a point where i can type on the iphone keyboard without constantly looking. its predictive presses and typing corrections help a lot with that.
