We're in the killin' nazi business, and business is booming.
i redboxed it last night, i was not expecting historical accuracy, but was still disappointed, somewhat offended. it had some funny parts, some action, some weak plot twists, no boobs atleast :(.
the most interesting person was the ss "jew hunter"
i'd give it a 6 and am glad i only paid $1 to see it.

I liked it. Not Pulp Fiction awesome, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hans Lauda was by far the most developed character with some of the best acting. That was a scarily smart son of a b*tch.
both of maternal grandparents were from hannover, infact my grandfather moved the family here because he was a freemason ( a group of people who did not sit well with the 3rd reich). i also know and have know quite a few german WWII vets as well as having done TONS of research on the subject. maybe because of this background and knowledge i found it a little offencive, because it was so far odd the mark. not like i am going to go protest the movie, but i was a little put off by it.
the only interesting character was the jew hunter, he was also the most developed. the rest of the characters were shallow, boring and inconsequental to the plot the way they were presented. better writing would have helped that out.
lastly, there was no boobs damit!

You know how you are never suppose to notice good editing, good sound, or good lighting? You are not to stop during a move and think "hey, that's some good studio lighting!" - well same with directing. But butt-fuck Tarantino has to put his little stamp on every god dame scene that says "Look at me! Look at me! I'm making a movie!". It get's old fast.

Due to the fact it was a taranntino film i had high expectations...well I was disappointed...
It was slow and boring. all the good parts of the movie were shown in the preview.
I didn't think it was boring at all. One of my favorite parts of Tarantino flicks are the way he spins those long-winded scenes of awesome dialogue. I will say that there was not nearly as much action as the trailers made it look like, but I had a great time during the whole movie.
