Best Movers + Car Movers? State to State

I am going to be relocating from california to washington state in about a month + a week.

When I came down here, I rented a uhaul and towed one car and had a buddy drive another car down.

Due to urgency and not wanting to go through the same nightmare again, I'm trying to find either a reputable long distance mover that will do the contents of my apartment as well as our cars, or a mover + car mover combination that would work as well.

There seems to be a million moving companies out there and all of them seem to be quoting me the same prices, including ones located out of state.

    Help!

Really trying to track down a moving company today

i used intercity lines to transport my m5 from mass. to california. they did a great job and were very professional.
my advice is to use one of the big car movers and don't try to skimp. you'll get enclosed transport and the cars will likely arrive much faster. the transport brokers use rednecks with 1 ton pickups and open gooseneck trailers.

I used Intercity as well when I bought my White M3 this spring. San Fran to Mass for $1500. Enclosed away from prying eyes, insured and covered so car above didn't leak on it. Professional!

I just got quotes from DAS and AAAT for around 800 bucks for each car, top rack, door to door pickup/droppoff with GPS tracking.. based on this thread: http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthr...ht=ship&page=1

I'm really looking for a nice ACTUAL mover in addition to those though.

Why not just call up a big moving company, Mayflower maybe? And see what they can do for cars?

Sounds like a 26foot Budget one way drop off with a trailer would be cheapest and drive the second car. Cost me $700 including fuel last year to move about roughly the same amount.

Basicly you don't want to do the heavy labor correct? Don't blame you it's miserable.

Pretty much. We did this on the way down. 20 something foot penske truck with a trailer for her car, had Jparkr drive my e30 down. E30 is in atrocious condition right now since I haven't been able to afford to properly maintain and have no garage. It needs new suspension and tires and don't want to take it through the mountains. Her car is a Honda Accord and probably won't make it either since its way over due on maintenance.

We have alot of heavy furniture and stuff now as well.. Just want someone to load it up and take it and fly up.

I know how big a pain in the ass that move can be, but, if you get a auto transport and move your stuff yourself you will save a penny or two. I was not willing to pay some random dudes four thousand dollars more than what I spent to get 2500 sq ft worth of stuff plus two cars to Idaho.

My moving estimates are like 1200$ from moving companies right now, and then about 1200-1600 for both cars..

It cost me 1400$ for gas, penske truck, hotel, gas, etc last time.. plus paying John. i think im saving money or at least cutting even this way :/
