I believe there are FedEx, and UPS, hubs located in Lenexa.
Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.
I lived in the area for two years. There are many reasons that I don't anymore. Here are a few:
Too Hot in the summer
Too cold in the winter (I hope you like lots of snow, and no one that knows how to drive in it)
Job Market sucks (at least for aerospace)
No Hills
No Salt water
Racial tension (I thought the East-coast was bad)
Religious nutjobs
That aside there are some good things about it:
Cost of living is low
BBQ (the reason why I gained 10lbs while living there)
Power & Light District (new 'nightlife' area in KC, where you can pick up all sorts of tramps)
St Louis is only 3 hours away (theclosest city with an established nightlife)
KU isn't far from Lenexa. I figure they have an established nightlife, being a college town and all.

Kansas is the inspiration for wormhole technology. Midwest scientists are looking for a way to get to the mountains without having to endure the boredom that is Kansas.
