YES it undermines and basically nullifies the Constitution, amendments 1, 4, 5 and 6 it has lots of other BS in that can be used to violate any persons rights under the guise of stopping terrorism. All the powers that are in it the Govt all ready had, they just had to have proof, the Patriot act forgoes having to get the proof and just spy on all of us.
