Anyone know how to fix my ipod 160's little issue long enough to get the music off it? It has thousands of songs videos and pictures but it all shows up as "other" on my memory, and it isn't showing up in the hidden folders, but it's still taking up the same huge chunk of memory. I just need to get the songs stored on a folder so I can transfer them to my new Zune 120. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, the sooner the better cuz I need music to maintain sanity while moving into my new humble abode. :pimp:

Only advice I can really think of is to open it up in my computer, hit tools, folder options, view, show hidden folders, then click ok. You should see a folder that is grayed out saying something like ipod control, then click music. There should be something like 100 folders all named F01, F02 yada yada. All of your music will be stored in these, copy and paste them all to where ever you want.

Speaking of ipods, mine won't turn on nor charge if I plug it in. It happened once before and i took it by apple and they rebooted it or whatever. Anyone know what I can do?sigpic

Free tech support isn't unheard of. The last electronics company I worked for troubleshooted, arranged repairs, and could have specialists come to your house attempt to repair or remove send out for repair and reinstall. Technical support was free if you are able to identify A/V cables, if not having a specialist come to your house was around $75. All this was with crap from the late 80's early 90's, of course they also tried to sell upgrades, but if you weren't having it they would still service your antiquated pile of crap. Even microsoft has spent considerable time on the phone with me, regarding xbox without an attempt to charge.
