i've lived in every major metro area on the west coast except san diego (which sounds nice, but i'd probably find things to dislike about it also).

i have found things i hate about los angeles, the nor-cal bay area, portland (especially), and seattle.

it's really a pick-your-poison kind of deal out here.

Yeah that's true.. There's thing I don't like about seattle. I love the rain but I hate driving in it, I love the people but I hate how shut in and disrespectful of themselves that most are..

give and take.. home is where the heart is, and I think thats washington for me

You know, I like my little California suburb.

But I went down to LA and I can see how you feel, I hated it down there haha.

moved here from California in 1979, thought 4 seasons was great, and now just want to get out of here when the rain hits and the high avg temp is <50*
one good thing is decent skiing is only 1.5 hrs away at crystal mtn.

I love it up here, and I will be having a chance of snow tomorrow thru next Monday. I'm excited now, but we will see what a lifetime in Ca has to say about it.

I love how everyone from warm climates always gets excited about snow. Give it a few months after you've had to warm up your car and de-ice the windows everytime you go somewhere. You'll be cursing that stuff every chance you get.

I was born in Kentucky. Spent a summer living in Boston, 3 years living in florida, and every one of my family vacations has ended up on the east coast.

I'll pick the left coast :)

                                BTW:

In washing my car to return back up I have discovered that the piece of shit aftermarket fender/paint that was put on to my car after I spun out into a guard rail is now fucking RUSTING. after two years! fuck my life.
